This is a Richard Armitage post.
The trailer for Richard Armitage's independent film, Urban and the Shed Crew, has finally been released. It's an adaption from the memoir of the same name that was filmed early last year, and aside from some behind-the-scenes photos we saw nothing else from this project until just now. I'm particularly excited to see this when it does come out, especially reading up on what the book entails and it sounds rather interesting, and the trailer itself indicates that I'm very much going to love the performances by everyone involved. Who knew that Richard would rock that '90s long-haired hobo look so well?

Richard was recently named the Ambassador of Cybersmile (a non-profit anti-cyberbullying foundation) and gave an interview talking about the effects of cyberbullying and what could be done to prevent it. It's a good read, and he gives some of his personal insight, especially from his point of view since he has a Twitter, about the effects of social media.

First image of Richard in Pilgrimage, the movie he just finished filming a little while ago. I honestly almost didn't recognize him.

And lastly, of course, is the interviews and everything in relation to his appearance on this season of Hannibal as Francis Dolarhyde. Not just getting super excited to see his performance, which will no doubt be phenomenal, but upon hearing Bryan Fuller utterly gush about Richard, seeing the amount of praise he gets for not just his performance but also his work ethic, his professionalism and just him as a person alone makes me so deliriously happy. He deserves it. He has come such a long way with his acting career, and no doubt he will be impressive with this incredibly meaty role on Hannibal. The season has already started, the Dolarhyde six-episode arc is towards the end, but nonetheless it's already shaping up to be an amazing season just from the premiere alone.

In general, the future is looking very bright for my bae, and I hope it just continues to grow with endless amazing opportunities. (◡‿◡✿)

Richard looks so different! It is amazing how a different cut changes the face.

Different haircut, sideburns, clean-shaven, stubble or full grown beard. I love how such things can make a huge difference it makes to the face, which is quite effective when portraying different roles. Whatever the case, he still looks attractive no matter what. ;)

He's going to be absolutely fantastic. We already have little glimpses from the first look and the picture of him with the dragon tattoo on his back, and I'm just really anxious for his episodes. :D

It's always such a great feeling when your favourite is doing so well and gets to do so many things. And I can imagine it's a lot of fun for you as well ;)

Re: shallowness ahead
An appropriate response, I'd say. ;)

But yeah, I'm very proud of all he's accomplished so far in his career. He is a very talented actor who doesn't get nearly the kind of recognition he deserves, so I'm happy he's getting all these amazing opportunities.

Armitage is doing so much! I had no idea! I seriously love how versatile and amazing of an actor he is. I'm glad he's doing good and I had no idea he was a voice against cyber bullying! It's nice when you see people that have an influence fight against things that are horribly wrong.

He's certainly been one busy little bee, and I'm really proud of him. He seems to be getting more roles and projects that he's quite content with doing. I think being in The Hobbit and The Crucible really has helped people notice him. I'm just happy he's getting the recognition he deserves, with hopefully much more work to come.

He'll be doing more projects soon, he has about a few more things lined up. So looking forward to seeing the updates from those. :)
