Fandomosity: Jossverse (Firefly), 'These Girls' Movie, Potterisms (OotP)
Happy Friday, February 3rd!

-♠- Why Did The Browncoats Cross The Road?: Hilarious little something over at the FireflyFans.Net message boards, where someone placed together a 'Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road' question script where the characters gave their answers. This little skit is extremely amusing, especially in the replies below where someone asks, "How many Reavers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?" and Mal's answer: "They will burn it out, rape the socket, then screw the shiny friend to death and leave it hanging from the ceiling. And if it's very very lucky, in that order." Plus, plenty of others where that came from. Take a look, and enjoy the hilarity! Some of the folks over on WHEDONesque have created their own little musings to these riddles and such. Ah, the fun with chickens.

But really though, how many Rivers does it take to screw in a lightbulb? And what does Jubal Early really know about that mysterious chicken crossing the road? *g*

-♠- Nandi + Inara = OTP: In case anyone doesn't already know, Morena Baccarin was on last night's episode of The OC, and is credited to appear in several other episodes on upcoming dates. I didn't see it since I have no interest in watching that show at all, although it is reported that Morena's appearance was practically for a split-second. But seeing that she will be guest-starring severl more times as the character of Leah Griffin, she's probably have more screentime. Also, Melinda Clarke (a.k.a. Nandi from the Firefly episode "Heart of Gold") has been on The OC when not appearing as Lady Heather on CSI. Nandi and Inara onscreen once again? Shiny.

-♠- "Oh My God. I'm A Crazy Person!": What happens when a vampire with a soul and an overeducated yet unemployed girl who can talk to inanimate objects and do good deeds that she doesn't want to do team up? They both have a romantic comedy together! David Boreanaz and Caroline Dhavernas (from Wonderfalls) will be on the big screen together in the movie These Girls. Tons of hilarious fun, wit, and nakedness from them both. Yay!

-♠- The Order of the Phoenix Is Now In Session: It seems that the WB has officially announced the final casting decision for Luna Lovegood, which is Evanna Lynch. Personally, from first impressions, her studio photo isn't really flattering in terms of deciphering if she really is the "Luna Lovegood type", and she's not how I imagined Luna at all. Of course, this is first impressions; for the film they'll pretty her up to be more Luna-esque, and also they were judging on acting abilities and not appearances --- for they can alter appearances, not how someone can act like the character during auditioning. So, we'll see how she does. Congratulations to her and the perfect choices for Bellatrix and Umbridge as well. Filming for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will begin next week.

-♠- Can't Stop The Chicken Signal: For those that are living underneath a rock, The Signal is back for its season two of podcasting. Their season two, episode one can be downloaded here from their show notes. Also, the Firefly Talk Podcast has episodes #15 and #16 available to download, as well.

HAHA! The first link is hilarious! So many great chicken and light bulb jokes. I think my favorite is:

"How many Josses does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
None. He gets a beautiful young girl to do it with her super powers."

*wide grin* Thanks for the link!

Hee, you're quite welcome! I found them too hilarious to not put them up. :)
