The Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban teaser trailer came out Wednesday afternoon, or supposedly that's what I was told, and right when I came home from school my sister came out from her room and screamed at me ecstatically and told me to go look on the Leaky Cauldron. I knew automatically it had to be something involving the Prisoner of Azkaban, but she refused to tell me until I saw for myself. Well, unfortunately, the computer froze right when I was about to get onto the website and I had to fucking restart the computer. Then, when it was taking forever to do that, my sister cracked and told me that the teaser trailer was avaliable now online. I was in shock and excited. Although when I was getting onto the site, I couldn't get to the web page it's directed to because, big surprise, I don't have Quicktime installed yet. ::screams::
But that didn't stop me from wanting to watch the trailer, so I went to my mother's laptop and tried to access the trailer from there. Luckily, she had Quicktime; bad news, however, because the page didn't load, either. It probably was because there were too many people trying to access the page all at once so they could see the trailer instead of going to theaters. But, all was not lost, because right after my sister went with our father to go driving, I tried once again on my mother's laptop and then....I HAD IT!!!
It took a while, but I finally got it! The teaser trailer of the third Harry Potter movie is outstanding and astonishing, and better than I ever imagined it would be.
What I most liked out of the trailer, aside from all the excellent clips from the movie that I am anxiously psyched for, is the Hogwarts choir singing 'Something Wicked This Way Comes'. I couldn't - and still can't - seem to get that song out of my head, just because the way they sung it, it's just so haunting and dark it seems to fit the exact situation that is happening in the storyline. Plus, the lines were taken from Macbeth, so no complaints here.
I just cannot believe how far away the movie is, at least 7 months. But I am guessing that we'll have more updates about the movie, along with new pictures - hopefully of Trelawney, Peter Pettigrew, and better shots of Lupin, also the black little puppy dog that is used for Sirius Black. I'm also predicting that the actual full length trailer will be out in Janurary of next year.
I am just glad that we have more than what we had before. I can't wait for more. And I love Dumbledore as a hippie. :)
