The full moon is rising

Boy, this summer has gone by faster than I thought. It went by so quick it actually was slow, if that makes any kind of sense.

I watched partial of the Summer Olympics last night. Despite the announcers being incredibly annoying with their mispronunciations of the Greek names (the guy couldn’t even pronounce Oedipus for crying out loud) and inane comments throughout the entire thing, the beginning segment was simply amazing. The costumes, the performances, the setup, everything was great. I especially like the portrayal of the Greek gods, goddesses, and mythological creatures – the centaur at the very beginning, for example.

If anyone is planning on seeing M. Night Shyamalan’s The Village, I highly recommend you see this film, but only if you’re into seeing psychological mind-boggling thrillers. If you liked movies such as The Sixth Sense or The Others, I guarantee you’ll enjoy this film. Otherwise, you won’t get any satisfaction from sitting there hoping to see blood and guts, because there won’t be any. This film is not big with the gore, but it has major creepifying moments here and there.

The items that my mom ordered from the HP Wizard Store had arrived a few days ago. I finally have my very own Slytherin scarf, Quidditch goggles (that make me look like I have bug eyes), and a Harry Potter watch that has Roman numerals to show the time – I was inspired from the PoA film to order this.

All I need now is an authentic Time-Turner, a realistic wooden wand, Hogwarts robes and a Quidditch racing broom and I’ll be all set.

No, I’m not obsessed at all. Nope. Not at all. Just compulsively insane due to having a borderline Potterpathic disorder.
