Political: Post-Election and Personal Opinions

Okay. I haven't posted since the results of the election on November 3rd, and there's a perfectly rational reason for this. I think you all know what I'm talking about.

Ever since that day almost everyone online has been posting their reactions and feelings towards the outcome of the tallied up ballots, Kerry's conceding speech, and anything else related to the presidential race. I would've posted one too, but I feel that practically everyone on my F-List and everyone off of their F-List have expressed everything that I had felt after realizing the winner of the election. I've read every single politically made postage, everyone's different reactions and opinions on the subject, and have witnessed much drama due to this event. I don't feel like I need to express my personal feelings on this subject, because almost everyone has said it for me.

But I am going to say something, just to prevent myself from going insane. I know probably everybody is sick and tired of politically made posts and such, I am as well, but I feel that this needs to be said before I proceed any further.

That is all I have to say on this subject. I understand that there's a lot of people out there that have different opinions and viewpoints than mine, and I respect that. However, I am asking those that don't agree with me to respect my opinions as I would theirs.

In other news, it's been raining nonstop. Something that I am grateful for. There's nothing better than waking up to the sound of raindrops hitting your bedroom window -- also the smell of rain is even better. Because today is Veteran's Day I slept in. Hearing the rain was quite a refreshment from this week of confusion and slight frustration (problematic mathematical issues that I do no want to get into at the moment).

Anticipating the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory remake, as well as Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events coming this December.

Also: Serenity, coming to a theater near you April 22nd, 2005!
