Fandomosity: Lost, HBP, VMars, 4th of July

Happy 4th of July!

-♠- OMGWTFPOLARBEAR: Apparently my newest fandom that's being added onto the list is obviously, Lost. After watching the incredibly adrenaline-filled two-part pilot episode I was ultimately creeped out (and major props to whomever constructed the music because, dude, the suspense!) This is yet another amazing fandom next to Veronica Mars and House that I have been sucked into. Yay! Oh, and I'm loving Sawyer and his badass self -- and Shannon/Boone is love.

-♠- Half-Blood Prince: 13 more days until the official release of the sixth installment of the Harry Potter series; the fandom in itself is even more crazed than I am, that's a given, but all in a more wanky kind of way. Theories and speculations (some of which aren't related to the topic of the sixth book at all) will either be proven true or false when the clock strikes midnight on the 16th of this month. God save us all...

-♠- She's a Marshmallow: Still in love with VMars. Just reminding those folks that haven't caught to loveliness of this show that it's rerunning on the UPN channel this summer on Wednesdays at 9:00pm, depending on where you live.

For the past week I've been hearing our joyous neighbors sending off firecrackers, which to my ultimate imagination sounded like guns firing. Gigantic booms in the middle of the night, three freaking times in a row. Scaring myself shitless because, while I knew it was firecracks, I don't necessarily live in the safest neighborhood. The plenty of green lands and trees and parks are trickery to the eye of an onlooker. Paranoid I may be, but I'd rather be safe than sorry -- that, and after watching Lost I guess paranoia might've gotten into my head. Oh well.

Anyway, I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July, stay safe and enjoy the festivities and the firework shows (if you're allowed that is).
