SPN 4.16 CAPSLOCK POST!

HOLY. MOTHER. FUCKING. SHIT.

OKAY. UM, OKAY. THIS EPISODE WAS FILLED WITH MUCH OF THE DEPRESSIVE EPIC SHIT WHICH ADDS TO THE MORE DEPRESSING THINGS THAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING TO DEAN.

HE OPENED THE FIRST SEAL, AS PREDICTED FROM THE SPACE PROMO. BUT STILL, ACTUALLY HEARING IT IN THE EPISODE AND THAT ALASTAIR WASN'T LYING JUST. OMG. WHY MUST THEY ADD MORE MAINPAIN INTO DEAN'S LIFE?!?! HASN'T HE SUFFERED ENOUGH ALREADY WITHOUT ALL THIS SHIT HAPPENING TO HIM NOW? THIS REVELATION? I MEAN MY GODS.

SO THAT ANSWERED THE WHOLE JOHN WINCHESTER THING. ALASTAIR TORMENTED HIM - IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE JOHN WINCHESTER TO OPEN THE FIRST SEAL, BUT HE DIDN'T BREAK FOR 100 YEARS IN HELL UNTIL THEY OPENED THE DEVIL'S GATE TO UNLEASH THE HOUNDS IN S2 FINALE. THEN THERE'S DEAN, WHO BROKE AFTER THIRTY YEARS. HE'S THE ONE - AND HE MUST STOP THE FREAKING APOCALYPSE FROM HAPPENING. OH LORDS OF KOBOL.

IN CONCLUSION: DEAN WINCHESTER IS THE HARBINGER OF DEATH! THE HAROLD OF THE APOCALYPSE!!!!

POOR DEAN. THAT LAST SCENE WITH HIM AND CASTIEL BROKE MY HEART. I MEAN SRSLY. ;___;

EEEEWWWWW. WHAT'S WITH THAT ANGEL SKANK DOING BACK?! GTFO OF MY FANDOM NOW YOU MANIPULATING BLASPHEMOUS BITCH. *SEETHES AND HISSES*

ALSO SAM? FEEDING OFF RUBY'S BLOOD FOR EXTRA POWER? YEAH. IDUNNO WHAT TO FEEL ABOUT THAT.

ALASTAIR'S ONE FUNNY SONOFABITCH. I LIKED THE ACTOR PORTRAYING HIM, AND THE LITTLE SONG HE WAS SINGING IN THE BEGINNING? HILARIOUS MOMENT! AND "POKING AND PROBBING"? I'M GETTING THE NONCON OF DEAN/ALASTAIR IS HINTED THERE AFTER ALL. *IS SQUIRKED* BUT THERE'S SO MUCH BETWEEN THEM THAT THE TENSION WAS LIKE, WHOA. DEAN WANTING TO GET HIS REVENGE, ONLY TO BE TORN APART EMOTIONALLY, YET AGAIN, BY THIS NEW REVELATION. JUST, MY GODS.

AND SAM KILLED ALASTAIR. WITH HIS NEWLY ACQUIRED RUBY-FIED DEMONIC POWERS. YEAH.

ANGEL CIVIL WAR!!!!!! OH, HOW MUCH AM I LOVING THIS?! SRSLY!!! OMGLOVESTHISLIKEWHOA.

URIEL WAS THE ONE KILLING HIS FELLOW COMRADES. HE HAD LUCIFER'S SWORD. HE WANTED TO HAVE THE APOCALYPSE HAPPEN, HE WANTED LUCIFER TO RISE, HE DOESN'T BELIEVE IN GOD. THERE IS NO GOD, HE SAID. HE DOESN'T HAVE ANY FAITH IN HEAVEN ANYMORE. HE DESPISES HUMANS, THINKS OF THEM LOWER THAN HIMSELF. HE DISOBEYED ON A DEEPER LEVEL, HE WAS FOLLOWING IN LUCIFER'S FOOTSTEPS. MY GODS. O____O

THE ANGELS AND CYLONS. TWO PEAS IN A POD, AMIRITE?!

I WILL MISS URIEL TBH. HE WAS KINDA AWESOME IN THAT MENACING ANGELICAL KINDA WAY, I THOUGHT OF HIM AS A FUNNY SONOFABITCH TOO. HEE. HE WAS THE FUNNIEST CASTIEL SAID. XDDD

WHICH BRINGS ME TO....CASTIEL!!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS SINCE LIKE, EVER. MORE CASTIEL BRINGS ME HAPPINESS AND JOY. SO MUCH CASTIEL IN THIS EPISODE, SO MUCH WITH HIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, OF HIM FEELING EMOTIONS, BECOMING CLOSER TO DEAN, DISOBEYING, QUESTIONING, MAKING DECISIONS FOR HIMSELF INSTEAD OF BLINDLY FOLLOWING ORDERS. AND OMG, WASN'T HE JUST ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS IN THIS EP? I KNOW I KNOW, HE'S ALWAYS GORGEOUS BUT MORE NEW SCENES WITH HIM MAKES ME THINK OF EPIC GORGEOUSNESS! ESP. FROM BEING AWAY FROM OUR SCREENS FOR SO LONG.

AND OMG. MISHA COLLINS IS JUST BRILLIANT IN THIS ROLE. THOSE LITTLE MOMENTS YOU SEE CASTIEL JUST INWARDLY BREAKING BUT TRYING TO CONCEAL HIMSELF FROM SHOWING IT. HIS EMOTIONS AND AFFECTIONS TOWARDS DEAN - SO MANY DEAN/CASTIEL SCENES. OMGOMGOMGOMG. I'M FLAILING LIKE A FLAILY FANGIRL.

ALSO! ALSO! EPIC FIGHTS! CASTIEL VS. ALASTAIR AND CASTIEL VS. URIEL. SADLY HE DIDN'T GET A CHANCE TO WIN THOSE FIGHTS HIMSELF, BUT HE WILL ONE OF THESE DAYS. BUT ROUGHED UP AND BLOODIED CASTIEL? LOVE IT SO MUCH.

HE VISITED DEAN IN THE HOSPITAL ROOM. TWICE. AND HE STAYED WITH DEAN EVEN THOUGH HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY IN THE END. HE LOVESSSSS DEAN. ♥

THE COMPARISON OF BEING LETDOWNS OF THEIR FATHERS. OMG. LOVE IT.

YEAH. THAT'S ALL I GOT ATM. STILL FLAILING. MORE COHERENT THOUGHTS LATER.

ALSO, WAS ANYONE HAVING ANY TROUBLE WITH THE WAY THE AIRED THESE RECENT EPS? WTF IS IT ALL FULLSCREEN NOW? SRSLY. WHATEVS.

DEAN AND CASTIEL ARE SO FUCKING CANON IT HURTS! I SWEAR, THE WAY THEIR CONVERSATIONS AND CASTIEL'S THOUGHTS WENT, HES CLEARLY A LITTLE BIT (A LOT) IN LOVE WITH DEAN. CLEARLY. OBVIOUSLY.NON-OPAQUE-LY.

great ep, ive been really meh about the last few, but this one was fantastic, except IA about not needing anna back. i did think it was predictable that uriel turned out the bad guy. and ewwww alastair and his weird nasal voice, i haaaaate it. the last actor playing him had it as well, it makes me cringe a littie, so slimy...
uriel and castiel's conversations reminded me of bartleby and loki in the movie Dogma, only more depressing and srs. at least those guys still both believed in God!!

how fucking depressing to be an angel who doesnt believe there's a God... horrible.

poor dean. things just keep going from bad to worse for the guy :(
i kept thinkin about watchman every time alaistair mentioned john haha

sam was really hot in this episode. "I CAN KILL NOW" WOOOOOO

THEY ARE SO TOTES CANON, THIS EPISODE KINDA SEALS THAT FOR US. CLEARLY. I MEAN, JUST THE WAY CASTIEL WAS ALL CONCERNED FOR DEAN AND EVEN WITH DEAN BEING ALL STUBBORN AND STUFF CASTIEL NEVER RESENTED HIM OR ANYTHING. JUST OMG. SO MUCH IN LOOOVVEEEE, I CAN'T HANDLE IT.

An angel not believing in God, both Uriel and Anna have been on that now, and it appears that Castiel still holds onto that faith even with questioning the orders he's been given by his superiors. I mean, I love that and I love him for never losing that faith in his Father, but the whole idea that angels losing their faith completely? Even moreso, becoming selfish like Anna did or filled with rage and hatred towards the humans like Uriel, it screams something is happening in Heaven. Something that isn't pretty, isn't perfect. I wanna know more about this.

Poor Dean. :(( That whole ending scene broke my heart. How can one man such as him stop the freaking apocalypse and take on Lucifer by himself? Plus finding out that HE'S the one that caused all of this -- break him even more, why don'tcha show.

I'm not sure how I feel about Sam at this point in the season. I mean, I get where he's coming from, but I'm just not into his entire storyline as much as I am with the angels and Heaven and Dean and all that. I dunno. But him killing Alastair while being hyped up on demon-blood juice was kinda interesting to see, esp. with Castiel's expression throughout the whole thing.
