Renée: Caprica. Zoe Graystone.rogueslayer452 on November 28th, 2014 09:49 am (UTC)

Favorite female character: Zoe Graystone, Lacy Rand, Tamara Adama
Favorite male character: Joseph Adama and Sam Adama
Least favorite character: I'm not entirely sure, because even characters who were morally gray, like Daniel and Clarice, they were quite fascinating in their motivations and how their stories were conducted.
Favorite ship: Zoe/Tamara, Sam/Larry
Favorite friendship: Zoe and Lacy, Zoe and Tamara, Clarice and Amanda (even though Clarice was using Amanda to get information, though perhaps to Clarice it was much deeper than that despite her motives).
Favorite quote: "Are you alive? The simple answer might be: you are alive, because you can ask that question." (Clarice Willow); "What are you doing here? You always go to school first. You wait until they take attendance, then you skip." (Sam Adama)
Happiest moment: Zoe's little robot dance. I thought it was a nice, cute little moment. When Tamara finally awakened from her confusion, and when she and Zoe teamed up. Lacy's development over the course of S1 was amazing, I liked seeing where she went and I really wanted to know more about where she ended up all those five years later, especially with her being in command of the Cylon Centurions. The series finale was fantastically done, and that epilogue too, which was both a good way of concluding the series as a whole along with sad because we could have had it all. Oh! And seeing head!Zoe as well, that was something rather unexpected but such a pleasant surprise. And Serge, the best family robot there was.
Saddest moment: When the Tamara copy was crying and freaking out about not remembering anything and how that she couldn't feel her heart beating. Like, that's such a horrible experience to go through, especially then having to remain all alone in that dark space. When Willie died.
Favorite location: I thought the Graystone house was really cool looking. I also loved venturing to the different planets of the Twelve Colonies and learning of the different societies and cultures each of them had, even if we only got a glimpse of a couple. Also the concept and structure of V-World was interesting.
Unpopular opinion: I loved this show, I loved it so much that I felt like it deserved several more seasons. This might not be an unpopular opinion to those who watched and liked it, but I definitely was enjoying where things were going and wanted to see where it would all lead to. I felt there were a lot of former BSG fans who were possibly bitter about the BSG ending that they just didn't give Caprica a proper chance. Additionally, I loved Zoe and it doesn't hinder the storytelling at all that the show was focusing on a teenage girl.

If I'm too late: I don't think I ever asked you for The Borgias in one of these memes.
Also, stealing this.
