This is a Richard Armitage post.

The trailer for Richard Armitage's independent film, Urban and the Shed Crew, has finally been released. It's an adaption from the memoir of the same name that was filmed early last year, and aside from some behind-the-scenes photos we saw nothing else from this project until just now. I'm particularly excited to see this when it does come out, especially reading up on what the book entails and it sounds rather interesting, and the trailer itself indicates that I'm very much going to love the performances by everyone involved. Who knew that Richard would rock that '90s long-haired hobo look so well?

Richard was recently named the Ambassador of Cybersmile (a non-profit anti-cyberbullying foundation) and gave an interview talking about the effects of cyberbullying and what could be done to prevent it. It's a good read, and he gives some of his personal insight, especially from his point of view since he has a Twitter, about the effects of social media.

First image of Richard in Pilgrimage, the movie he just finished filming a little while ago. I honestly almost didn't recognize him.

And lastly, of course, is the interviews and everything in relation to his appearance on this season of Hannibal as Francis Dolarhyde. Not just getting super excited to see his performance, which will no doubt be phenomenal, but upon hearing Bryan Fuller utterly gush about Richard, seeing the amount of praise he gets for not just his performance but also his work ethic, his professionalism and just him as a person alone makes me so deliriously happy. He deserves it. He has come such a long way with his acting career, and no doubt he will be impressive with this incredibly meaty role on Hannibal. The season has already started, the Dolarhyde six-episode arc is towards the end, but nonetheless it's already shaping up to be an amazing season just from the premiere alone.

In general, the future is looking very bright for my bae, and I hope it just continues to grow with endless amazing opportunities. (◡‿◡✿)
