There's a million things I haven't done, but just you wait.
++ Carmilla is going to have a third season, which apparently will be its final season. It is slightly sad that this will be the last one, but I do like that they've seemed to have planned this through. Also, from a storytelling standpoint, the first two seasons certainly have set the tone for something big on the horizon, so I'm quite excited for what is to come and how things are going to be resolved.

++ The only thing I cared about the Grammys the other night was Hamilton, and I wasn't disappointed. Not only was the performance of the opening number fantastic (all the thunderous applause and cheers for Lin as soon as he appeared was everything) which was their first time having a full song/performance aired on television ever, they also won an award and the acceptance speech was simply wonderful. I'm so proud of them. Lin looked so happy, and I loved that Stephen Colbert was the one who introduced them and gave them the award. I'm also very impressed because instead of performing at the Grammys, but they brought the Grammys to them and it was just so perfectly well done. Nothing else mattered at that point. The only other performance worthwhile that night was Kendrick Lamar and perhaps Lady Gaga's tribute to David Bowie, but otherwise that night belonged to Hamilton, in my opinion. Though man, if you thought it was impossible getting tickets to a show before, imagine how it's gonna be now, lol.

I knew something wonderful was going to happen, and as soon as Lin started rapping I was like, of course he would give a flawless rap acceptance speech. Bless. ♥

hamilton was the only part of the grammys i cared about, too. i've already accepted i'm never going to see this with the original cast, though :( idk, i just really hope they film the whole thing one day, bc that would be amazing.

kendrick was so, so robbed.

I remember it being mentioned somewhere that they were going to film the entire thing officially for people who haven't (or cannot) view the performance to experience it that way, but I don't know if they've done that already and are waiting for a date to officially release it or what.

I'm really excited to see what happens next in Carmilla. Can't wait!

Hamilton OWNED the Grammys.

Same! After where the second season left us, I'm highly anticipating a pretty big final season to conclude this story. It's been super fun following these characters and I don't know what else may be planned in the future, but it introduced us to this wonderful story they wanted to tell and I have been loving every moment of it.

I'm so proud of them. Lin looked so happy, every single one of that cast deserved this win and opportunity to shine. :)

Well...first full song performance ever aired...maybe someday they will just do the whole show **wishful thinking I know**

I wished they had just continued on at the Grammys. Like, it just went onto the next number, and then the next, until the very end. The Grammys would've turned into just a broadcast of the Hamilton performance in its entirety. It would've been awesome. ;)

Man, I still haven't watched S2 of Carmilla, though partly that's because I know that Laura is going to thoroughly annoy me, so I've been putting it off. She's just such a Gryffindor, and I hate Gryffindor types (even though basically every show has Gryffindor types lol) who are all "WE MUST SAVE EVERYONE!" instead of saving just the people they care about and lol I sound like a horrible person, but Laura completely grates on my nerves. I'm much more into Carmilla's morals and worldview, clearly. XD

But anyway, I'll catch up someday!

Well, the second season does deal a lot with Laura, though it's actually quite interesting since it also addresses that need of hers to save everyone and how harmful it can be. Because while I like Laura, she does have a flaw with not understanding the consequences of her actions or the bigger picture and has quite a narrow view of things, like to her everything is black and white, Good versus Evil, and that is addressed in the second season especially because of the way she views Carmilla. It does create a bit of tension, and the second season is a bit more darker than the first in that regard, and Laura does get pushed off that pedestal a bit at the end. But I think you might like it overall, since we get introduced to some new characters and there are some pretty great things happening, story-wise.

Have you seen Season Zero? It does spoil slightly about what happens at the end of S2 if you aren't aware of or haven't seen it, but it it's more of a flashback to Carmilla before she met Laura, and she's utterly fantastic. I'm also someone who is more drawn to characters like Carmilla. Her snark, brooding sass is something I love. Also, style aesthetic.

Yeah, I heard that Laura's world view gets shattered and all that, which is good. But the process of getting there would super annoy me and I would just want to punch her the whole time lol.

I haven't seen Season Zero cause I was gonna watch everything in order and I haven't seen S2 yet. But I already basically know the spoilers for the most part anyway. I spoil myself for everything haha. Also yes, Carmilla is the best. <333

Lol yeah I don't ever care about the Grammy's, but I was excited this year for Hamilton! Except I haven't watched the f from it yet because I wanted to wait until after I had seen the show today to not get spoiled. ;) Now when I get home I will watch on my DVR. I did with the speech, which I loved. Can't wait for the Hamiltonys next in June!

It's pretty damn awesome, it's the first time we've seen a whole number performed since anything else we've seen mostly come from brief clips from the show. Here it was broadcasted live for people to watch and it was so amazing, as was the acceptance speech. :)
