Choose redemption, your happy ending's up to you.
++ Kesha's new album, Rainbow, is honestly such a beautiful experience in every way possible. It isn't just emotionally raw, it is also uplifting and powerful and empowering and just so much fun, too. The positive vibe and message throughout is so encouraging and heartfelt, you can't help but feel good after listening to you and even feel for her, knowing that she is singing from the bottom of her very soul. For everything she's been through, this album represents her rebirth and growing stronger by moving forward, and I love and appreciate it so much. Kesha experiments with different songs and genres, her powerful vocals present in every track, and you can tell that every single song was a labor of love and she is just having fun recording them. It is both different but still authentic to who she has always been in her music, just without the restrictions she was placed on before. I'm so happy and proud of her, that she is able to finally release the music that she's been wanting to create for a long time, and she deserves all the support for this album that she poured her entire heart and soul into. I love you, Kesha. ❤

++ So, since I've been kind of talking lately about merchandising for some fandoms that have been or should be in need of a resurgence, I just discovered that the NBC store still has some BSG merch available. I don't know how long they've been in stock but some are pretty new to me since the last time I checked the site, especially the shirts. Definitely bookmarking this for later.

++ I have been so enraptured by this book publishing drama that occurred last week, which continues to keep going with the more things are exposed. This is honestly so fascinating and probably the most entertaining and intriguing drama that has happened in a long time, better than most fandom wanks in recent years. Just everything surrounding it and what continues to come out from the scam is just so unbelievably juicy, and I'm living for it. But it also has gotten me so curious about other drama or scandals that have happened in the world of publishing.

I love how the author is playing the victim all this. Like, she's saying she needed to cheat the system because it doesn't promote up and coming novelists and "real stories".

I saw somewhere that someone called this the epitome of white privilege, and that is so true. She thought she could cheat the system and get away with it, and when she was caught she cries and plays victim claiming that she is being mistreated by the YA community and that this is discriminatory for new writers. Like, please. Stop embarrassing yourself further.

I'm glad that The Hate U Give was reinstated at the top slot after being bumped off due to this scam being exposed. I haven't read it, but after reading what the story is about it is way more deserving of getting noticed considering its content and message.

Also the fact that the writing is not very good at all has been a source of glee for some people (aka me). I've been enjoying this read-through so far.

I've only read one small excerpt from it (where the main character is describing herself) and it just so horrible. I'm happy that others are doing us a good favor and sporking the book for the rest of our enjoyment.
