Percy Jackson and the Olympians (if you've read/watch it) and/or Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, please?

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM

My favorite female character: Queenie Goldstein
My favorite male character: Percival Graves, at least the fanon version of the real Percival Graves since we hardly know anything about his character, aside from possible brief glimpses here and there. Although I'll admit, he was my favorite from the moment I saw him in the trailers and the reason why I wanted to see the film in the first place, so there is my bias, lol.
My favorite book/season/etc: I've only seen the one film, and unless Colin Farrell returns for the rest, it will most likely be the only film of this franchise I'll see.
My favorite cast member: Colin Farrell
My favorite ship: I'll admit that Jacob/Queenie were cute, and I have lowkey liked the concept of Tina/Percival
A character I’d die defending: Percival Graves. More importantly, defending the right to know where he is and who he is as a person, as he clearly existed and is an important figure of MACUSA, after all.
A character I just can’t sympathize with: Grindelwald, Dumbledore, Mary Lou Barebone, Henry Shaw Jr.
A character I grew to love: Not necessarily "grew to love" but liking more of the concepts of their characters despite their lack of characterization or screentime: Seraphina Picquery. She was barely featured in this film and, despite the background blurb of her character on Pottermore, the film painted her as being incompetent, which pissed me off. However, the more I thought about it, and the more fandom had headcanons/metas surrounding her character, the more I appreciated her and understood her position, even if the film didn't present it in such a way.
My anti otp: Graves/Credence, I just don't understand it. Also Newt/Tina, because even though it is canon that they eventually get married they barely had any chemistry.

Graves/Credence, I just don't understand it

Me neither, especially since here I think it was all Grindelwald and not a hint of Graves's personality because unlike the people at MACUSA he interacted with, Credence wouldn't be able to tell. Or at least that's what I choose to believe.

I was glad when I read that Carmen Ejogo/Seraphina Picquery was confirmed for the second movie. It gave me hope that we may eventually see Percival Graves again or at least find out what happened to him.

Yeah, I mean, I've read a lot of fan theories and heacanons surrounding whether or not Credence knew the real Percival Graves before his identity was stolen by Grindelwald (and perhaps Grindelwald used Legilimency or other methods to mentally torment him to understand his personality, how he interacted with others, etc), especially since it's believed that Grindelwald was in America the same amount of time that Newt was, which was not very long. If nothing else, if the real Graves knew Credence before Grindelwald, it was probably due to what happened with Tina and her demotion with everything that happened. I have my own headcanons about that, too.

So I know the reasons why people ship the real Percival Graves with Credence (which is more just filling in the space with headcanons of who the real Graves was and his possible interaction with Credence), it's just not a ship I particularly like.

I was glad when I read that Carmen Ejogo/Seraphina Picquery was confirmed for the second movie.

Not that I'm going to watch it, but let's just hope that she has more screentime than in the first film, but I doubt she will.
