Let's Lin-Manuel this Miranda.
++ Deadpool: The Musical 2 is a fanmade parody that was recently just released. The first one was already fantastic, but this one definitely takes the cake with them going above and beyond. Adding in not just the X-Men and the Avengers but also other Marvel character cameos (which is just as hilarious as the whole "Infinity War But Everyone Is Deadpool" trailer mashup), parodying Disney songs along with making the joke about them now being owned by Disney, it's just gold from start to finish. It's absolutely hilarious and the overall production was well-done. Bravo to everyone who worked on it, y'all knocked it out of the park. I think Ryan Reynolds would be proud.

++ Speaking of Deadpool, I've been addicted to watching all of D. Piddy's convention videos. I, of course, knew of him since seeing a few in the past, but I've just been consuming them because they're entertaining and I love seeing cosplayers roleplaying and just being silly with each other.

++ SDCC is this week! I pretty much nearly forgot that it was happening this soon, lol. I only know of a few panels that I'm interested in, but just like with E3 I'm sure the more that comes out from it the more invested I'll be. I'm usually just catching up on everything after the fact anyway, since there's with anything SDCC related there's a lot of unpack with trailers and footage of upcoming shows, movies, projects, interviews, panels, etc.

++ BBC released a trailer for their upcoming dramas, which features some intriguing ones. Luther is coming back, Doctor Who (new teaser here) which I'm very excited about with Thirteen because I know I'm gonna love her, and interestingly enough Killing Eve will be premiering on the BBC. It has already aired on BBC America and Sandra Oh has been nominated for an Emmy for her role on the series, which is such a huge deal and I'm incredibly proud of her for such an achievement.

Yeah, and the thing is I'm an introvert and I can get rather claustrophobic in large crowds for a prolonged period of time, which sucks when there are events such as this that I want to attend. Which I do go to conventions every now and then, but I have to plan it so I don't overexert myself, y'know? But those are smaller in comparison to this. And for something like SDCC that is humongous and always busy and crowded and hectic, I would have to do major preparation should I plan go in the future.

Oh. I get it, With so many people around even walking gets overwhelming, Whenever I get antsy because of all the people I go hide in the artist's alley (it's the less crowded part since most people stick to the big studio booths), or go looking for a mostly empty spot outside near the bay. I hope one day you can make it to SDCC and experience the whole thing! :D

I remember when I attended Dragon*Con several years back that I had a mild anxiety attack because I had become quite overwhelmed. I mean, don't get me wrong I had fun during that weekend and don't regret going one bit (and in fact I want to return to that convention one of these days), but it was that incident that made me rethink how to approach conventions as a whole. Now I kind of schedule it around their schedules, knowing which panels/events I really want to go to and have a back-up plan just in case, and if I ever feel too overwhelmed for any reason to just step outside or go to a place that has minimal people as possible to take that breather.
